J&K Bank shared its provisional business numbers for the 9 months ended December 31, 2025. Total Business grew 13.34% year-on-year to Rs. 2,72,109 crore, driven mainly by strong loan growth. Gross Advances rose a healthy 17.26% YoY to Rs. 1,16,247 crore, while Total Deposits grew 10.58% YoY to Rs. 1,55,861 crore. However, the CASA ratio fell sharply to 44.10% from 48.17% a year ago, a drop of 407 basis points, indicating reliance on higher-cost bulk deposits. Gross Investment declined 2.07% YoY to Rs. 40,535 crore. Figures are provisional and subject to audit review.
Positive for shareholders on the back of robust 17% loan growth, but the sharp fall in the CASA ratio suggests higher interest costs, which could squeeze margins in the coming quarters.
