Jain Irrigation reported Q1 FY26 consolidated total income of ₹15,456 million, up 4.6% year-on-year, with EBITDA rising 13% to ₹2,020 million and margins improving 98 basis points to 13.1%. However, consolidated profit after tax slipped 8.5% to ₹112 million, even as cash PAT grew 8.3% to ₹792 million. On the standalone basis, revenue grew 7.3% to ₹9,192 million and EBITDA climbed 15.5% to ₹1,234 million. Management highlighted strong demand in micro irrigation, tissue culture, exports, and solar agri pumps, while the pipe business faced pressure from early monsoon and slowdown in Maharashtra's Jal Jeevan Mission. Food processing delivered strong results despite lower mango prices, and the company received an equity infusion during the quarter to support working capital and growth plans.
Positive on revenue growth and margin expansion, though the dip in reported PAT and temporary build-up of inventory and receivables may cap near-term sentiment. Management's optimism about a piping demand revival in the second half of FY26 and stable raw material costs could support the stock if execution holds.
