Jain Irrigation reported consolidated revenue of ₹15,456 Mn in Q1 FY26, up 4.6% YoY, with EBITDA rising 13% to ₹2,020 Mn and EBITDA margin expanding to 13.1% from 12.1%. Standalone revenue grew 7.3% to ₹9,192 Mn with EBITDA of ₹1,234 Mn (+15.5%). Hi-Tech Agri was the star with revenue up 29.5% and margin improvement of 137 bps driven by Micro Irrigation, Tissue Culture and exports. Plastic division was weak with revenue down 10% and margins under pressure due to early monsoon and project segment slowdown. The company has an order book of ₹18,044 Mn (consolidated) and received fresh equity infusion during the quarter that supported working capital. Management expects demand revival for the piping business in H2 FY26.
Positive for shareholders as overall margin improvement of 100 bps and strong Hi-Tech Agri growth offset Plastic division weakness. However, near-term headwinds in pipes and lower mango prices may cap upside, while higher working capital days warrant monitoring.
