Jaiprakash Associates Limited has submitted copies of newspaper advertisements of its audited standalone financial results for FY25 (year ended 31 March 2025), published in Financial Express, Jansatta, Business Standard (English & Hindi) on 1 July 2025. The results show total operating income fell sharply to Rs 3,11,729 lakhs from Rs 4,18,424 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 25%. The company reported a net loss after tax of Rs 4,93,336 lakhs in FY25, much worse than the Rs 1,53,626 lakhs loss in FY24, with EPS worsening to Rs (20.10) from Rs (6.26). Net worth has turned deeply negative at Rs (6,90,374) lakhs versus Rs (1,98,625) lakhs a year earlier, while outstanding debt stands at Rs 16,18,860 lakhs and debt service coverage ratios remain sharply negative. Significantly, the results have been 'Taken on record' by Bhuvan Madan as Resolution Professional, confirming that the company continues to be under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) under the IBC.
This is clearly negative for shareholders — sharply higher losses, a deeply negative net worth, and the continued involvement of a Resolution Professional indicate the company is still under insolvency proceedings, raising material risk of equity dilution or write-off for existing shareholders.
