Jayant Infratech reported strong FY25 results with revenue from operations rising 36% year-on-year to Rs. 12,171.97 lakhs (from Rs. 8,930.06 lakhs in FY24). Profit after tax grew even faster, up about 72% to Rs. 840.54 lakhs (vs Rs. 487.13 lakhs). Basic EPS improved to Rs. 8.51 from Rs. 5.02, while profit before tax climbed to Rs. 1,126.83 lakhs. The auditor (Jay Gupta & Associates) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. Total assets expanded to Rs. 10,180.43 lakhs, supported by an equity raise of Rs. 508.50 lakhs and higher short-term borrowings of Rs. 1,535.70 lakhs. Operating cash flow remained healthy at Rs. 693.10 lakhs.
Strong topline and bottomline growth with a clean audit opinion is positive for shareholders; however, rising short-term debt and a sharp drop in closing cash balance (from Rs. 680.93 lakhs to Rs. 3.30 lakhs) are points worth monitoring.
