Jaysynth Orgochem has published the extract of its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) in Financial Express and Loksatta, as required by SEBI listing rules. On a standalone basis, total income from operations rose to Rs 5,777.17 lakhs from Rs 4,985.27 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a YoY growth of about 16%. However, net profit after tax fell to Rs 185.94 lakhs from Rs 255.41 lakhs YoY, a decline of around 27%, with EPS at Rs 0.14 versus Rs 0.19. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew to Rs 5,900.84 lakhs but profit after tax dropped sharply to Rs 171.80 lakhs from Rs 286.07 lakhs YoY, down nearly 40%. Sequentially, both revenue and profits declined compared to Q4 FY25, indicating margin pressure despite top-line growth. The company operates in two segments: Colorants & Chemicals and Inkjet Printers.
Mixed signals for shareholders — revenue is growing year-on-year but profitability is shrinking, suggesting rising costs or weaker margins. The sharp drop in consolidated net profit (nearly 40% YoY) could weigh on short-term sentiment, though the results are unaudited and the business segments remain stable.
