The Board of Jet Freight Logistics approved its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations fell to ₹119.37 crore, down about 16% from ₹142.04 crore in Q1 FY25. Despite the revenue dip, profit after tax surged to ₹1.78 crore from ₹1.03 crore in the same quarter last year, an increase of roughly 72%. EBITDA for the quarter was ₹4.51 crore versus an estimated ₹3.55 crore a year ago, indicating clear margin expansion. EPS rose to ₹0.38 from ₹0.22. The auditor (GMCS & Co.) issued an unmodified review report on both standalone and consolidated results. A note flagged a new Ind AS 115 accounting policy for unbilled revenue (effective Oct 2024) that added ₹8.93 crore to current-quarter revenue.
Mixed picture for shareholders: topline shrank meaningfully YoY, but profits and margins expanded sharply, partly helped by a change in revenue recognition policy. The clean audit report and absence of exceptional items are positive, though investors should note the accounting policy shift inflates reported revenue and unbilled receivables.
