Jindal Drilling & Industries announced strong Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) results alongside routine board-level appointments at a meeting held on 30 July 2025. Standalone total income rose to Rs. 26,256 lakhs from Rs. 18,409 lakhs a year ago, and standalone profit after tax nearly doubled to Rs. 5,645 lakhs (vs Rs. 2,294 lakhs in Q1 FY25), lifting basic EPS to Rs. 19.48 from Rs. 7.92. On a consolidated basis, PAT came in at Rs. 6,611 lakhs (vs Rs. 4,386 lakhs), with EPS of Rs. 22.81 versus Rs. 15.83. The board also recommended the re-appointment of Dr. Raj Kamal Aggarwal as Independent Director for another 5-year term from 10 November 2025, subject to shareholder approval, and appointed M/s Ajit Mishra & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY26–FY30) and M/s P L Gupta & Co. as Internal Auditor for FY26.
Strong double-digit growth in both revenue and profits, plus a sharp jump in EPS, is a clear positive for shareholders and likely to be viewed favourably by the market. The auditor and director appointments are routine governance items and should not materially affect the stock.
