The Board of Jindal Drilling & Industries met on 30 July 2025 and approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). On a standalone basis, total income rose to Rs. 262.56 crore from Rs. 184.09 crore in Q1 FY25, while profit after tax nearly doubled to Rs. 56.45 crore from Rs. 22.91 crore, lifting EPS to Rs. 19.48 from Rs. 7.92. Consolidated PAT stood at Rs. 66.11 crore (EPS Rs. 22.81) vs Rs. 43.86 crore a year ago, supported by share of profit from joint ventures (Discovery Drilling Pte. Ltd and Virtue Drilling Pte. Ltd). The Board also recommended re-appointment of Dr. Raj Kamal Aggarwal as Independent Director for 5 years effective 10 November 2025, re-appointed P L Gupta & Co. as Internal Auditors for FY26, and recommended Ajit Mishra & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for a 5-year term (FY26–FY30). Note: A favourable arbitration award in the ONGC case has not been recognised pending Bombay High Court directions, and the quarter includes a small net forex loss of Rs. 1.04 crore vs a gain in Q1 FY25.
Strong YoY earnings growth in Q1 FY26, with standalone PAT up ~146% and consolidated PAT up ~51%, is a positive for shareholders. Governance items are routine but the pending ONGC arbitration outcome remains a key swing factor to watch in coming quarters.
