Jindal Photo Limited's Board approved standalone and consolidated audited results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2026. Standalone revenue surged to Rs. 1,261 Lakhs (vs Rs. 247 Lakhs YoY), driven by Rs. 1,046 Lakhs in dividend income from newly received Jindal India Power Limited shares following a demerger of Jindal India Powertech Limited's power business. The company booked a standalone operating profit of Rs. 667 Lakhs vs a loss of Rs. 289 Lakhs previously. However, on a consolidated basis, the company reported a net loss of Rs. 2,279 Lakhs (vs profit of Rs. 22,594 Lakhs in FY25), primarily due to a Rs. 2,662 Lakhs share of loss from joint venture and associate companies. The auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion but included an Emphasis of Matter flagging non-provision of doubtful loans and recoverable amounts from Mandakini Coal Company Limited (MCCL), a joint venture, due to pending petitions and claims. Compensation claims related to a coal mine re-allotment are still disputed, with the Nominated Authority proposing to reduce the awarded compensation. Total comprehensive income on consolidated basis was Rs. 80,921 Lakhs (vs Rs. 24,169 Lakhs), boosted by fair value gains of Rs. 95,066 Lakhs from the demerger.
The company remains solvent with strong total equity of Rs. 1,01,101 Lakhs, but the non-provisioning of Rs. 5,669 Lakhs (loan + guarantee recoverable) from a financially stressed joint venture (MCCL) flagged by auditors is a key risk to monitor. The consolidated net loss and negative operating cash flow of Rs. 745 Lakhs (excluding tax) indicate underlying operational weakness despite large fair value gains inflating comprehensive income.
