Jindal Stainless reported Q4FY26 consolidated EBITDA of INR 1,455 crores (+37% YoY) and PAT of INR 834 crores (+41% YoY). For FY26, deliveries grew 8% YoY to 2.57 million tons with EBITDA of INR 5,560 crores (+19%) and PAT of INR 3,185 crores (+27%). The company commissioned its 1.2 million tpa Indonesian stainless steel melt shop ahead of schedule, taking total melting capacity to 4.2 million tpa. Balance sheet improved with net debt at INR 3,040 crores and net debt-to-EBITDA at 0.55x. Management guided for 7-9% volume growth in FY27 with H1 EBITDA per ton of INR 18,000-20,000, targeting 3.5 million tons by FY29. Middle East geopolitical issues caused industrial gas and fuel costs to rise 2.5x-3x, requiring close monitoring. Export contributed 8% to total sales in FY26.
Strong operational performance with margin improvement and debt reduction positions the company well for growth. Management's FY27 volume guidance and multi-year 3.5 million ton target by FY29 provide clear growth visibility, though near-term H1 margin guidance reflects cost pressures from Middle East disruptions.
