Jindal Stainless Limited's board approved audited financial results for FY25 (ending 31 March 2025) on both standalone and consolidated basis, with joint auditors Walker Chandiok & Co LLP and Lodha & Co LLP giving an unmodified (clean) opinion. Standalone revenue from operations grew about 4.8% YoY to ₹40,181.68 crore, while net profit rose about 7.1% YoY to ₹2,711.19 crore; diluted EPS stood at ₹32.91 versus ₹30.72 last year. The Q4 quarter was notably strong, with revenue at ₹10,785.53 crore and PAT nearly doubling YoY to ₹924.94 crore. The board recommended a final dividend of ₹2 per share (face value ₹2), taking total FY25 dividend to ₹3 per share (including the ₹1 interim dividend paid in January 2025). Additionally, M/s. Vinod Kothari & Company was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for a five-year term starting FY26.
Positive signals for shareholders: clean audit opinion, a healthy full-year dividend yield, and a strong Q4 with PAT up roughly 94% YoY. However, full-year operating margin compressed to 9.72% from 10.52% last year, and a large part of FY25 profit included a ₹151.55 crore exceptional gain from divesting the remaining stake in Jindal Coke — investors should note that core operating performance was modestly weaker on margins despite the topline growth.
