JLA Infraville Shoppers' board met on 8 November 2025 and approved audited results for the quarter and half-year ended September 2025. The company swung to a profit of Rs 11.13 lakhs in H1 FY26, compared with a loss of Rs 33.39 lakhs in the same period last year. Total income rose to Rs 35.76 lakhs from Rs 22.12 lakhs, but nearly all of it came from 'other income' rather than actual operations (revenue from operations was just Rs 0.06 lakhs). On the balance sheet, total assets more than doubled to Rs 2,115.89 lakhs, while non-current borrowings surged dramatically from Rs 1.21 lakhs to Rs 1,349.16 lakhs. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs (12.01) lakhs versus a positive Rs 377.18 lakhs a year earlier, and the company confirmed that Regulation 32 (use of issue proceeds) does not apply as no shares were issued via public, rights, or preferential routes.
The headline return to profit is a positive signal, but the earnings quality looks weak since almost all income is 'other income' with virtually no operating revenue, and the sharp jump in borrowings alongside negative operating cash flow is a red flag for retail investors to watch closely.
