JSW Dulux (formerly Akzo Nobel India) reported FY26 standalone revenue of Rs. 35,992 million, down 11.6% from Rs. 40,693 million in FY25. Net profit surged to Rs. 19,177 million from Rs. 4,286 million, boosted by Rs. 18,463 million in exceptional items from the slump sale of the Powder Coatings and International Research Center divisions. Operating profit before exceptional items declined to Rs. 4,534 million from Rs. 5,697 million. JSW Paints acquired 61.2% stake on 10 December 2025, making JSW the new promoter. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 50 per share, bringing total FY26 dividend to Rs. 206 per share (vs Rs. 100 in FY25). Statutory auditors PwC completed their term and Deloitte Haskins & Sells is recommended for appointment.
Revenue decline reflects business divestments and market conditions, but the large exceptional gain from the slump sale significantly inflated profits. The clean audit opinion and higher dividend signal confidence under new JSW ownership despite margin compression.
