JSW Energy's Board approved audited FY2026 results showing strong growth with total income rising 57% to Rs 19,878 crore and profit for the year at Rs 2,762 crore, up from Rs 1,983 crore in FY2025. Revenue from operations grew 61% to Rs 18,901 crore. The company recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share (20%) for shareholder approval at the 32nd AGM on 9th July 2026. Book closure is from 6th to 12th June 2026 with record date 5th June 2026. Mr. Rajiv Chaudhri was re-appointed as Independent Director for 5 years from 14th July 2026. Total assets grew to Rs 1.24 lakh crore while borrowings increased to Rs 75,846 crore. Operating cash flow remained strong at Rs 9,898 crore despite higher capex of Rs 10,310 crore.
Strong revenue and profit growth signals healthy operational performance. The modest 20% dividend payout reflects retention of cash for the company's aggressive expansion capex. Higher leverage (debt-equity at 2.47) and lower debt service coverage (0.86) indicate increased financial risk from acquisitions.
