JSW Infrastructure, India's second-largest private commercial port operator, reported strong Q1 FY2026 results with operational revenue of ₹1,224 crore, up 21% year-on-year, and profit after tax of ₹390 crore, up 31% YoY. Operational EBITDA grew 13% YoY to ₹581 crore, supported by cargo volumes of 29.4 million tonnes (up 5% YoY) and a higher share of third-party cargo at 52% versus 50% a year ago. The company also secured a Letter of Award for redevelopment of Berth 8 and mechanization of Berths 7 and 8 at Netaji Subhas Dock in Kolkata under a 30-year DBFOT concession, signed an MoU with Konkan Railway for the Bhoke Railway Siding, and received a Letter of Intent for acquiring NCR Rail Infrastructure under the insolvency process. The balance sheet remains strong with cash of ₹4,360 crore and a net debt to EBITDA ratio of 0.54x, supporting the company's ₹30,000 crore capex plan to scale capacity from 177 mtpa to 400 mtpa by FY2030.
The double-digit growth in revenue, EBITDA, and PAT, combined with new project wins and a healthy balance sheet, signals strong operational momentum and is likely to be viewed positively by investors. The strategic additions in container handling, rail connectivity, and inland logistics reinforce the company's long-term growth plan and could support sustained earnings expansion.
