JSW Infrastructure has announced a series of board and senior management changes effective late August/early September 2025. Mr. Lalit Singhvi, the current Whole-Time Director and CFO, will superannuate as CFO on August 31, 2025, and move to a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director role for a 3-year term. Mr. J Nagarajan, currently Deputy CFO (and formerly of JSW Steel), will take over as CFO from September 1, 2025. Independent Director Ms. Ameeta Chatterjee completes her second 5-year term on August 30, 2025, while Independent Director Mr. Nirmal Kumar Jain (age 79) resigns citing advancing age and Non-Executive Director Mr. Kantilal Narandas Patel (age 74) resigns for personal reasons, both effective August 30. Ms. Neeta Mukerji, a senior banker with over 30 years of experience, joins as a new Independent Director. Mr. Devki Nandan Sharma is appointed as Whole-Time Director and Key Managerial Personnel, and Mr. Debabrat Mishra joins as Senior VP (HR) designated as Senior Management Personnel.
These are largely planned and orderly transitions — a smooth internal CFO succession and routine board refresh. Two Independent Directors and one Non-Executive Director are stepping down, with qualified replacements in place, so the changes are unlikely to materially affect operations, strategy, or shareholder value in the short term.
