JSW Steel Q1 result: Net Profit doubles to ₹4,696 crore; revenue jumps 10%

JSW Steel reported consolidated net profit of Rs 4,696 crore for Q1 FY27, more than doubling from Rs 2,209 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations rose 9.8 percent year-on-year to Rs 47,364 crore, while crude steel production grew 3 percent to 6.59 million tonnes. The company has begun constructing a 2 MTPA steel plant in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of over Rs 16,350 crore as part of its capacity expansion plans.
