Jubilant Foodworks reported strong Q1 FY26 results with consolidated revenue from operations rising ~17% year-on-year to ₹22,608.6 million, up from ₹19,330.6 million in Q1 FY25. Consolidated profit for the period jumped to ₹943.4 million from ₹580.2 million, a growth of about 63%. Standalone revenue grew ~18% to ₹17,015.8 million and standalone profit rose ~30% to ₹667.0 million. Diluted EPS stood at ₹1.43 (consolidated) and ₹1.01 (standalone) versus ₹0.89 and ₹0.78 a year ago. The company also sold its Russian subsidiary Pizza Restaurants LLC during the quarter, treating it as a discontinued operation with a small ₹28.6 million loss. Auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unqualified limited review report.
Strong top-line growth combined with sharply higher profits signals improving operating leverage and a healthy quarter for shareholders, likely to be viewed positively by the market. The Russia exit removes a loss-making drag going forward.
