Jumbo Finance's board met on 13 August 2025 and approved the unaudited standalone financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Revenue from operations was nearly flat at Rs. 23.40 lakh versus Rs. 23.02 lakh a year ago, but other income fell sharply to Rs. 34.43 lakh from Rs. 298.33 lakh, dragging net profit down to Rs. 29.87 lakh versus Rs. 291.15 lakh in Q1 FY25. Total expenses were much lower at Rs. 22.39 lakh (vs Rs. 174.63 lakh in Q4 FY25), which kept the company in the black with EPS of Rs. 3.32. The auditor issued an unmodified limited review report but flagged an emphasis of matter that fair-value adjustments for investments in India Nivesh Renaissance Fund and Kalpvriksha Trust could not be made due to missing documents. The board also fixed the 41st AGM for 30 September 2025, approved the Director's Report, and appointed Mr. Pankaj S. Desai as Secretarial Auditor (5-year term) and M/s S.K. Lahoti & Co. as Internal Auditor for FY 2025-26.
The sharp YoY drop in profit is largely due to lower other income, not core operations, but the emphasis of matter on unvalued investments is a small governance red flag worth watching. Routine in nature otherwise; no major event likely to move the stock sharply.
