Jupiter Infomedia reported weak Q2 FY26 results, with standalone revenue from operations at just ₹0.17 lakhs versus ₹0.42 lakhs in Q2 FY25. Standalone loss after tax widened sharply to ₹(14.99) lakhs from ₹(2.43) lakhs a year ago, and the company posted a half-yearly standalone loss of ₹(24.99) lakhs versus a profit of ₹90.93 lakhs in H1 FY25. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations grew ~34% YoY to ₹87.59 lakhs, but total income fell sharply to ₹117.28 lakhs from ₹910.47 lakhs as other income (largely investment gains) collapsed. Consolidated PAT turned negative at ₹(50.40) lakhs for the quarter versus a profit of ₹537.10 lakhs in H1 FY25. Net cash used in operating activities was ₹(18.32) lakhs standalone and ₹(55.08) lakhs consolidated. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both sets of results.
Negative for shareholders — both standalone and consolidated businesses swung to losses with declining core revenue and collapsed investment-related other income, signalling a sharp deterioration in profitability despite a clean audit opinion. The negative operating cash flow and compressed margins may weigh on the stock in the short term.
