Jyothy Labs reported Q4 FY25 consolidated net sales of ₹667 crores, up 1.1% year-on-year with 4% volume growth, while EBITDA margin improved to 16.8% (from 16.4%). Profit after tax for the quarter was ₹76.3 crores, slightly lower than ₹78.2 crores in Q4 FY24. For the full year FY25, net sales rose 3.3% to ₹2,847 crores with healthy 6.4% volume growth, EBITDA margin at 17.5% (vs 17.4%), and PAT of ₹370.4 crores vs ₹369.3 crores. Gross margin improved 100 basis points to 50.1%. The company remains debt-free with a strong cash balance of ₹757 crores and has recommended a final dividend of ₹3.5 per share. Segment-wise, Fabric Care and Dishwashing grew, while Personal Care and Household Insecticides declined due to base effects and weakness in the coil sub-category.
Mixed results for shareholders — steady volume growth, margin expansion, debt-free status, and dividend announcement are positives, but declining PAT in Q4 and weak performance in Personal Care and Household Insecticides segments may temper near-term sentiment. The strong cash position provides flexibility for future investments and brand-building initiatives.
