Jyoti CNC Automation has received a favorable order from the Commissioner (Appeal), Central GST & Excise, Rajkot, dated May 29, 2026. The appellate authority set aside an earlier order from the Additional Commissioner, Central GST, Rajkot, which had raised a demand of Rs 4,45,59,720 (approximately Rs 4.46 crore). Since the entire demand has been dropped, the company is now eligible to claim a refund of the amount it had paid under protest. This updates the company's earlier intimation from November 18, 2025, regarding the same litigation.
This is a positive development for the company as it eliminates a potential liability of over Rs 4.4 crore and may result in cash inflow from the refund. The favorable ruling removes uncertainty around a material GST dispute.
