K M Sugar Mills has informed exchanges that Stockholding Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) mistakenly transferred 5,00,000 equity shares (0.54% of equity) to the personal demat account of Vatsal Jhunjhunwala instead of the correct account of promoter group entity Jhunjhunwala Securities Pvt Ltd. The error occurred on 11 December 2025 while closing SCI's own demat account (IN30112715560862) for Jhunjhunwala Securities. The company stresses this was a clerical/administrative error by SCI with no instructions from the promoters, and that no actual trading or acquisition of shares took place.
