K.P. Energy Limited has placed an order with Senvion India for 20 units of the 4.2M160 wind turbine generators (4.2MW each, total ~84MW capacity). These turbines will be installed as part of a hybrid power project for a customer in Bharuch district, Gujarat, with deliveries scheduled for Q4 FY 2025-26. The deal includes supply, supervision, and a comprehensive operations and maintenance contract. This is one of the early commercial installations of the 4.2M160 model, Senvion's largest and most advanced turbine with a 160m rotor and hub heights up to 140m, designed for low wind conditions and Indian terrain. The turbine is developed jointly by Senvion's India and Germany R&D teams with over 85% local content under Make in India.
