K. V. Toys India's Board, at its meeting on 10 January 2026, approved incorporating a new subsidiary called Crayonix Stationery Private Limited in which it will hold a 65% equity stake. The new entity will manufacture crayons, colour pencils, sketch pens, markers, notebooks, geometry boxes, school and office stationery, and customized gift sets. The initial consideration is a nominal Rs 65,000 in cash, no government or regulatory approvals are required, and the transaction is expected to complete within two months. The move is aimed at building in-house manufacturing capability and expanding the company's product portfolio into the stationery and gifting market.
This is a small, strategically positioned entry into the stationery and gifting segment via a new subsidiary. For shareholders, the deal size is negligible financially, but it signals management's intent to diversify revenue streams beyond toys.
