The Board of Kaira Can Company approved unaudited financial results for Q2 and H1 FY26 (quarter/half year ended September 30, 2025). Total income for H1 FY26 stood at Rs. 12,891.32 lakhs, up about 10.7% from Rs. 11,645.48 lakhs in H1 FY25. Net profit for H1 FY26 was Rs. 143.08 lakhs versus Rs. 130.98 lakhs in H1 FY25, a growth of roughly 9.2%; however, Q2 standalone net profit fell to Rs. 39.68 lakhs from Rs. 50.25 lakhs YoY. The Tin Containers segment drove growth with segment profit rising to Rs. 334.69 lakhs, while the Ice-Cream Cones segment swung wider into losses at Rs. -69.02 lakhs on sharply lower revenue. The Board also cleared a Postal Ballot to appoint Mr. Dhiraj Kumar Chaudhary as a Non-Executive (GCMMF Nominee) Director. Statutory auditor G D Apte & Co issued an unmodified limited review report.
Modest top-line growth and broadly stable profitability are positives, but weak Q2 PAT, a loss-making and shrinking Ice-Cream Cones segment, and continued negative operating cash flow (Rs. -212.67 lakhs in H1) may weigh on near-term sentiment. The GCMMF nominee directorship reinforces the company's promoter linkage with Amul, which is structurally supportive for shareholders.
