Kajaria Ceramics' wholly-owned subsidiary, Kajaria Adhesive Private Limited (KAPL), has commenced commercial production of tiles adhesive on May 20, 2026. The manufacturing facility is located at SIPCOT Industrial Growth Centre in Perundurai, Erode, Tamil Nadu. The plant has an annual capacity of 1,08,000 MT on a single shift basis. This marks Kajaria's entry into the tiles adhesive business, expanding beyond its core ceramics portfolio. The company already had an existing adhesives facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
This expansion into tile adhesives diversifies Kajaria's revenue stream and leverages its existing distribution network in the tiles segment. The new facility in South India (Tamil Nadu) provides geographic diversification. For shareholders, this is a positive long-term growth catalyst, though the financial impact will depend on utilization rates and market demand for the new product.
