Kaka Industries Ltd reported strong FY2026 results with revenue from operations growing 33% to Rs 26,323.30 lakhs from Rs 19,778.34 lakhs in FY2025. Net profit after tax surged 46% to Rs 1,877.40 lakhs from Rs 1,286.28 lakhs. The company's EPS improved to Rs 13.74 from Rs 9.42. Long-term borrowings increased significantly to Rs 4,675.65 lakhs from Rs 2,777.43 lakhs, while short-term borrowings rose to Rs 4,422.81 lakhs. The statutory auditors, Dinesh R. Thakkar & Co., issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion, and there were no exceptional items reported.
The strong double-digit growth in both revenue and profit is positive for shareholders. However, the substantial increase in borrowings and negative operating cash flow of Rs 386.19 lakhs (though improved from negative Rs 1,044.95 lakhs last year) warrant monitoring as they indicate elevated financial leverage.
