Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries has submitted newspaper clippings (Financial Express in English and Andhra Prabha in Telugu, both dated 12 August 2025) publishing its unaudited Q1 FY26 results, as required under SEBI listing rules. Total income from operations rose to ₹2,555.98 lakhs in Q1 FY26, up about 28.8% from ₹1,985.09 lakhs in the same quarter last year. The company, however, continued to post a net loss of ₹321.55 lakhs, though this is significantly narrower than the ₹783.52 lakhs loss reported in Q1 FY25. Loss per share for the quarter stood at ₹0.41, compared to ₹1.01 a year earlier. The results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board, with Chairman and Managing Director P. Veeraam signing off on the publication.
Procedural filing — no new information beyond what was already disclosed. The narrowing loss and improving revenue are mildly positive for shareholders, but the company remains in the red, so the near-term price impact is likely limited.
