Kalpataru Projects International Ltd has published a notice informing shareholders that shares with unclaimed dividends for seven consecutive years or more will be transferred to the IEPF Authority. The company has already transferred such shares for FY 2017-18 and before. Now, shares for FY 2026-27 are due for transfer, including those of erstwhile JMC Projects (India) Limited which has amalgamated with the company. Individual communications have been sent to affected shareholders at their available addresses. The deadline for shareholders to submit claims is 29th August 2026 for KPIL shareholders and 31st August 2026 for JMC shareholders. After these dates, the company will dematerialize and transfer the shares to IEPF Authority.
Affected shareholders who do not claim their unpaid dividends before the deadline will lose ownership of their shares, which will be transferred to IEPF Authority. However, they can still claim both the dividend and shares back from IEPF Authority by following the prescribed procedure.
