Kalyan Capitals Ltd (an NBFC, formerly Akashdeep Metal Industries) announced its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited financial results along with a clean (unqualified) limited review report from auditor T.K. Gupta & Associates. On a consolidated basis, total revenue from operations rose to Rs. 882.98 lakhs from Rs. 721.30 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 22%. Consolidated profit after tax more than doubled to Rs. 241.65 lakhs from Rs. 118.36 lakhs, while EPS stood at Rs. 0.46 versus Rs. 0.23 a year ago. On a standalone basis, revenue grew to Rs. 537.67 lakhs (from Rs. 441.55 lakhs) and PAT rose to Rs. 51.12 lakhs (from Rs. 29.44 lakhs). The board also accepted the resignation of CEO Chandan Kumar Bhardwaj (effective August 31, 2025) and appointed Anshu Agarwal, a finance and management professional with 25+ years of experience, as the new CEO from September 1, 2025.
Strong YoY growth in both revenue (over 20%) and consolidated profits (over 100%) on a small base is a positive signal for shareholders, though the scale of the business remains modest. The CEO transition is well-timed with results announcement and appears orderly, with the incoming CEO bringing deep finance leadership experience.
