Kalyan Jewellers reported consolidated revenue of Rs 7,268 crore in Q1 FY26, up 31% from Rs 5,528 crore in the same quarter last year. Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) grew 49% to Rs 264 crore, compared to Rs 178 crore a year ago. Standalone India business posted revenue of Rs 6,142 crore (up 31%) and PAT of Rs 256 crore (up 55%). International operations generated Rs 1,070 crore in revenue, up 32%, with the Middle East contributing Rs 1,026 crore in revenue and Rs 22 crore in PAT. The Candere online jewellery platform recorded Rs 66 crore in revenue but a net loss of Rs 10 crore. The company has 406 showrooms across India, the US, and the Middle East, with over 10 lakh sq. ft. of retail space.
Strong double-digit growth in both revenue and profit, with India business delivering 55% PAT growth, signals robust festive-season demand outlook despite gold price volatility. Shareholders may view this positively, though Candere's continued losses and the absence of detailed margin commentary could temper expectations slightly.
