Kalyani Steels reported total standalone income of Rs 19,020.47 million for FY2026, down 6.5% from Rs 20,335.75 million in FY2025. Despite the revenue decline, profit after tax increased marginally to Rs 2,551.37 million from Rs 2,530.34 million, with EPS rising to Rs 58.45 from Rs 57.96. For Q4 FY26, standalone PAT stood at Rs 710.25 million on income of Rs 4,983.73 million. The company reported exceptional items in Q4 resulting in a lower PBT of Rs 966.45 million versus Rs 978.37 million before exceptional items. Total comprehensive income for the year declined to Rs 2,388.33 million from Rs 2,566.41 million. The results were published in Business Standard and Loksatta on May 9, 2026.
While revenue declined year-on-year, the company maintained profitability with slight improvement in bottom-line metrics, suggesting cost efficiency. The lower comprehensive income and quarterly revenue decline versus the same quarter last year may indicate muted investor sentiment despite stable earnings per share.
