Kama Holdings Limited's board approved audited financial results for FY25 on May 30, 2025, with an unmodified auditor opinion from V Sahai Tripathi & Co. Consolidated revenue from operations grew about 10.3% to Rs. 14,82,815.51 lakhs (from Rs. 13,44,013.89 lakhs in FY24), driven mainly by the Performance Films & Foil segment which grew around 24% to Rs. 5,55,379.58 lakhs and the Chemicals segment which grew about 6%. Consolidated profit before tax declined around 10% to Rs. 1,71,761.47 lakhs, while operating cash flow improved to Rs. 2,53,379.63 lakhs from Rs. 2,12,630.54 lakhs. On a standalone basis, the holding company posted PBT of Rs. 10,544.67 lakhs versus Rs. 31,643.90 lakhs in FY24, mainly because FY24 had a one-time large profit on sale of investments of Rs. 20,231 lakhs that did not recur. The board has recommended a Nil final dividend for shareholders.
Nil dividend and a sharp drop in standalone profits may dampen near-term shareholder sentiment, though the decline is largely explained by the absence of a one-time investment gain from FY24. Strong consolidated revenue growth and improved operating cash flow offer some comfort, but mixed signals mean investors should watch segment-level performance closely.
