Kamanwala Housing Construction's board, at its meeting on August 14, 2025, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). The company reported no revenue from operations in the quarter, down from Rs. 67.19 lakhs in Q1 FY25, with only Rs. 57.22 lakhs of other income (vs Rs. 0.01 lakh earlier). Total revenue fell about 15% to Rs. 57.22 lakhs. Despite the weak top line, the company swung to a small profit of Rs. 2.57 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.02) compared to a loss of Rs. 11.43 lakhs (EPS Rs. -0.08) in the same quarter last year, helped by sharply lower expenses of Rs. 54.03 lakhs vs Rs. 78.63 lakhs. The auditor Vinod Kumar Jain & Co issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter. The consolidated results also include two partnership joint ventures whose financials were not reviewed by the auditor and contributed zero revenue and zero profit.
Quarterly numbers are very small and likely not material for stock price, but the complete absence of operating revenue signals weak real estate activity this quarter. The swing to profit is positive but comes from cost reduction and other income rather than core business recovery, so investors should watch upcoming quarters for a return of operating revenue.
