Kanoria Energy & Infrastructure Ltd has published a newspaper notice (in Financial Express and Rajasthan Patrika on 13.07.2025) informing shareholders that equity shares corresponding to the unclaimed dividend for FY 2017-18 will be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) since the dividend has remained unclaimed for seven consecutive years. Shareholders have until Saturday, 30th August 2025 to claim the dividend and prevent the transfer of their shares. The company will issue duplicate share certificates for physical shares and inform depositories for demat shares to facilitate the IEPF transfer. Once transferred, no claims will lie against the company, though shareholders can later reclaim shares and dividends from the IEPF Authority by following the prescribed procedure.
This is a routine regulatory compliance filing and does not directly affect the stock price. Shareholders who have not claimed their FY 2017-18 dividend must act before 30th August 2025 to avoid losing their shares to the IEPF, after which recovery becomes a longer process through the IEPF Authority.
