Kay Power and Paper has submitted the newspaper publication of its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2025 to BSE, as required under SEBI LODR Regulations. For Q2 FY26, standalone total income from operations stood at Rs. 762.68 lakhs versus Rs. 942.59 lakhs in Q2 FY25, while net profit after tax was Rs. 1.21 lakhs (basic EPS Rs. 0.01). On a half-year basis, standalone revenue fell to Rs. 1,504.13 lakhs from Rs. 2,120.95 lakhs in H1 FY25, and profit after tax dropped sharply to Rs. 1.21 lakhs from Rs. 112.52 lakhs a year earlier (H1 EPS of Rs. 0.03 vs Rs. 0.51). Consolidated figures are broadly in line with standalone results. Equity share capital remains at Rs. 2,209.00 lakhs.
The sharp year-on-year decline in both revenue (~29%) and profit (~99%) for the half-year suggests continued weakness in the business, which could weigh negatively on the stock. However, sequential improvement in revenue and profit from Q1 to Q2 FY26 may provide some near-term stabilisation cues for shareholders.
