Kaynes Technology reported strong FY25 results with consolidated revenue of ₹27,218 mn, up 51% YoY, and EBITDA of ₹4,107 mn, up 62% YoY, with EBITDA margin expanding 101 bps to 15.1%. Profit after tax grew 60% YoY to ₹2,934 mn, with PAT margin at 10.8%. Q4FY25 was particularly strong: revenue grew 54% YoY to ₹9,845 mn, EBITDA jumped 76% to ₹1,679 mn, and EBITDA margin expanded 211 bps to 17.1%. Order book stood at a robust ₹65,969 mn, up from ₹41,152 mn a year earlier, indicating strong pipeline visibility. However, net debt rose sharply to ₹6,813 mn from ₹2,177 mn, finance costs jumped 91% YoY in Q4, and ROCE/ROE moderated to 19.2%/19.4% from 22.0%/22.8%, reflecting heavy capex on new facilities in Chamarajanagar, Hyderabad, and overseas expansion (USA, SE Asia, Sensonic GmbH acquisition).
Strong revenue and margin performance, combined with a growing ₹65,969 mn order book, signals solid business momentum and is positive for the stock. However, rising debt levels, higher finance costs, and dilution in return ratios may concern investors watching for capital efficiency as the company invests in expansion.
