KBS India Ltd has filed the newspaper publication of its audited standalone financial results for Q4 FY25 and full year FY25, as required under SEBI LODR Regulation 47(3). For Q4 FY25, total income from operations rose to Rs. 115.77 lakh from Rs. 73.65 lakh in Q4 FY24, a jump of about 57%. The company turned profitable in Q4 with a net profit of Rs. 6.06 lakh versus a loss of Rs. 1.09 lakh a year earlier. For the full FY25, total income was Rs. 351.01 lakh versus Rs. 346.87 lakh in FY24, broadly flat. However, full-year net profit after tax jumped sharply to Rs. 17.66 lakh from Rs. 7.18 lakh, roughly a 146% rise. EPS stood at Rs. 0.02 for FY25 versus Rs. 0.01 in FY24. The results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on May 29, 2025, and were published in Business Standard and Parshuram Samachar.
The sharp year-on-year improvement in net profit and the return to profitability in Q4 point to a meaningful turnaround for KBS India, though the absolute earnings remain very small. Small-cap investors may view this as a positive earnings signal, but should weigh it against the company's modest scale (equity capital of about Rs. 1,082 lakh and revenue under Rs. 4 crore).
