Keerthi Industries reported a net loss of Rs 543.45 lakhs for Q2 FY26 (ended September 30, 2025), wider than the Rs 451.78 lakh loss a year ago, though the half-year loss narrowed to Rs 782.45 lakhs from Rs 1,000.18 lakhs in H1 FY25. Revenue from continuing operations (Cement segment) was Rs 2,247.52 lakhs in Q2, roughly flat YoY, while H1 revenue dipped slightly to Rs 5,305.88 lakhs. The company also appointed Ms. Anupama Iyer as the new Company Secretary & Compliance Officer effective November 13, 2025. The Electronics Division has been classified as discontinued operations following shareholder approval in July 2025 for its slump sale to related party Hyderabad Bottling Co. Pvt. Ltd., and Sugar Division land worth Rs 497.59 lakhs is also held for sale. The statutory auditors (Brahmayya & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report.
Persistent losses in the core cement business remain a concern, though the narrowing half-year loss and divestment of the loss-making Electronics Division could support a gradual turnaround. Shareholders should watch for completion of the slump sale and any improvement in cement segment margins in coming quarters.
