CARE Ratings has reaffirmed the credit ratings of KEI Industries' bank facilities and commercial paper, keeping them unchanged from the previous assessment. Long Term Bank Facilities of Rs. 1,200 crore retained CARE AA+ with a Stable outlook, and Short Term Bank Facilities/Commercial Paper of Rs. 2,650 crore retained CARE A1+. A separate Commercial Paper (carved out) of Rs. 30 crore was also reaffirmed at CARE A1+. The rating review was based on the company's FY25 audited and Q1FY26 unaudited operational and financial performance. Additionally, the rating on the company's Fixed Deposit programme was withdrawn at its own request, as no fixed deposits were raised or outstanding.
The reaffirmation of the strong AA+ (long-term) and A1+ (short-term) ratings signals continued confidence in KEI Industries' financial health and debt-servicing ability, with no change in borrowing costs or credit perception for shareholders. The withdrawal of the FD rating is procedural and has no impact since no fixed deposits are currently outstanding.
