Ken Financial Services' board approved unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. For Q2 alone, total revenue from operations fell to ₹10.55 lakh from ₹14.42 lakh in Q2 FY25, a roughly 27% decline, and quarterly profit slipped to ₹2.93 lakh from ₹3.57 lakh. For the half year though, profit jumped sharply to ₹18.41 lakh from ₹4.69 lakh last year, though this was heavily boosted by a one-time income from services of ₹40 lakh booked in Q1 FY26 that did not recur. Interest income, the company's core business, was actually lower at ₹24.85 lakh for H1 versus ₹29.03 lakh a year ago. Statutory auditor Satya Prakash Natani & Co. issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications, and no shareholder complaints were received during the quarter.
Mixed picture for shareholders — headline half-year profit growth is flattered by a non-recurring item, while the underlying interest income business is shrinking on a like-for-like basis. Watch whether core lending activity and interest income recover in the coming quarters before reading too much into the H1 numbers.
