Ken Financial Services reported a sharp jump in Q1 FY26 results, with total income rising to ₹56.93 lakh from ₹14.60 lakh in the same quarter last year, driven by a new income from services of ₹40 lakh. Profit before tax surged to ₹21.78 lakh from ₹1.49 lakh, and net profit for the quarter stood at ₹15.47 lakh versus ₹1.12 lakh a year ago. Earnings per share improved to ₹0.52 from ₹0.04. Total expenses increased to ₹35.15 lakh from ₹13.11 lakh, mainly due to higher employee costs and other expenses. The statutory auditors issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
The strong YoY jump in revenue and profit is positive for shareholders, but the absolute numbers are still small (company-scale level in lakhs), and the surge is partly due to a one-time services income of ₹40 lakh. Investors should watch whether this services income is recurring before reading too much into the growth.
