Kennametal India's Board approved the audited financial results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended June 30, 2025. Q4 revenue grew 6.9% year-on-year to ₹3,234 Mn, while full-year revenue rose 6.4% to ₹11,703 Mn from ₹10,999 Mn. Profit before tax for the quarter was ₹413 Mn, up 3.2% from ₹400 Mn, and full-year profit before tax (excluding a prior-year exceptional item) was ₹1,402 Mn vs ₹1,386 Mn. However, full-year net profit declined to ₹1,029 Mn from ₹1,105 Mn, and EPS fell to ₹46.82 from ₹50.28, mainly because FY24 had a one-time ₹127 Mn interest income on a tax refund. The statutory auditors (Price Waterhouse & Co) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications. The Board also re-appointed EY as Internal Auditor and K.S. Kamalakara & Co. as Cost Auditors for FY25-26, appointed V. Sreedharan & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years, and fixed the 60th AGM for November 6, 2025.
Shareholders get a clean audit report and steady revenue growth, but bottom-line numbers dipped slightly because the prior year was boosted by a one-time tax refund interest. The fresh auditor appointments and unchanged dividend capacity signal stability, though the EPS decline may draw some attention.
