KG Denim has published its unaudited standalone and consolidated results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30.06.2025) in The Financial Express (English) and Malaimurasu (Tamil). Standalone total income from operations stood at Rs. 1,373 lakhs with a net loss after tax of Rs. 264 lakhs (EPS: Rs. -1.26). Consolidated total income was Rs. 1,819 lakhs with a smaller net loss of Rs. 98 lakhs. The company has implemented the SLBC debt-restructuring package, but South Indian Bank (holding 7% in the consortium) and one NBFC with Rs. 6.50 crore outstanding have dissented; the Madras High Court has granted an injunction against coercive action. The company is also proposing to issue convertible warrants and 6% non-convertible cumulative redeemable preference shares, subject to AGM and other approvals.
Losses have narrowed materially compared with the prior periods, but the business remains loss-making. The restructuring is mostly in place, though two dissenting lenders and Rs. 2,125 lakhs of disputed trade-creditor dues remain near-term overhangs. Proposed capital raises (warrants and preference shares) could ease liquidity if approved.
