The Board of KG Petrochem approved standalone unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (ended June 30, 2025). Revenue from operations rose to ₹9,404.03 lacs from ₹6,818.36 lacs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 38% year-on-year. Profit after tax came in at ₹216.19 lacs versus ₹195.01 lacs in the year-ago quarter, with EPS at ₹4.14 versus ₹3.74. The Textile segment drove the growth with revenue jumping to ₹8,367.24 lacs from ₹5,685.65 lacs, while Technical Textile dipped slightly. The statutory auditor (H.C. Bothra & Associates) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The Board also appointed M/s. Arpit Vijay & Co. as Internal Auditor and M/s. ARMS & Associates LLP as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY25-26 to FY29-30), and approved the 45th AGM for September 18, 2025. Three director changes were cleared, including a new Executive Director (Sanjay Sharma), a new Independent Director (Dilip Kumar Bhatia), and the re-appointment of Independent Director Anand Mishra for a second term.
Strong top-line growth of nearly 38% year-on-year is a positive signal, though the bottom-line growth was modest at around 11%, suggesting margin pressure from higher costs. The clean audit report and routine governance changes (auditor and director appointments) are neutral-to-positive for shareholder confidence. Investors should watch for sustained margin recovery in coming quarters.
