Khazanchi Jewellers reported strong financial performance for FY26 with revenue from operations growing 15.7% to Rs. 2,04,922 lakh from Rs. 1,77,193 lakh in FY25. Profit before tax nearly doubled to Rs. 12,076 lakh from Rs. 6,082 lakh, while PAT increased 98.9% to Rs. 8,942 lakh from Rs. 4,496 lakh. EPS rose to Rs. 36.10 from Rs. 18.18. However, operating cash flow turned significantly negative at Rs. 3,582 lakh (vs positive Rs. 108 lakh in FY25), driven by a massive Rs. 15,060 lakh inventory build-up (inventories surged to Rs. 40,778 lakh from Rs. 25,718 lakh). Short-term borrowings doubled to Rs. 11,040 lakh. The Board also approved migration from SME to Main Board platform, appointed new secretarial and internal auditors for FY27, and revised the Dividend Distribution Policy targeting 5-20% pay-out ratio. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified clean opinion.
The company delivered near-doubled profitability on the back of 15.7% revenue growth, but the significant negative operating cash flow and heavy inventory buildup alongside doubling of borrowings signal working capital stress that investors should monitor closely. The planned migration to Main Board is a positive structural development.
