Kilburn Engineering's wholly owned subsidiary M.E. Energy has won a Rs. 49 crore order to build a 12 MW Waste Heat Recovery Based Power Plant on an EPC basis for a client in the Ferro Alloys sector. This is the second consecutive major order from the Ferro Alloys industry, showing repeat business trust. With this win, M.E. Energy's external order bookings for the current financial year have crossed Rs. 138 crore, already surpassing its full-year bookings from the previous year. The subsidiary is also expanding into cement, and plans to grow further in steel and carbon black segments, supported by a strong project pipeline for the second half of FY26 and into FY27.
Positive for the company — strong order inflow at the subsidiary level boosts revenue visibility and reinforces Kilburn's growth strategy in industrial energy efficiency. Repeat orders signal customer confidence and could support positive sentiment around the stock, though actual financial impact depends on execution timelines.
