Kilburn Engineering's wholly owned subsidiary M.E. Energy has bagged multiple orders totalling Rs. 80.28 crore in the current quarter. A Rs. 51 crore order marks the subsidiary's entry into the ferro alloys sector, involving a 12 MW Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) based power plant with two WHR boilers and a captive power system. A Rs. 17.7 crore repeat order has come from Shree Cement for biomass-fired (paddy straw) Hot Air Generator systems across cement grinding units in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The remaining order component (~Rs. 11.58 crore) is not detailed in the release. Management indicated that with committed capex, the subsidiary is positioned to scale turnover multi-fold in coming years.
Positive for shareholders — the orders strengthen revenue visibility for the subsidiary, expand M.E. Energy's client base into a new sector (ferro alloys), and validate repeat demand from an existing major client (Shree Cement). Could support stock sentiment in the near term as order inflows confirm the growth trajectory highlighted by management.
